Our Approach

In Design and Technology lessons, we give children the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of designing and making functional products and savoury dishes through a wide range of engaging and practical activities. Following the design cycle of ‘evaluate, design, make’ children will explore existing products and conduct research, before designing and making their own products in response to a design brief, and then revisiting ‘evaluate’ to reflect on how successful their creation is.
